Our Values

The people of Clancy UMC seek to provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for people of all ages where we may worship, teach God’s word, develop lay leadership, and reach out in mission and ministry to our local community and beyond as we work to fulfill our mission to share the word, love, and grace of God with every church family member and person in our community. We strive to live out the Great Commandment (You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.) We believe every individual is truly beloved of God, and God’s grace is for all.

One Great Hour of Sharing is our largest single offering of the year. We participate in a number of local and area-wide mission activities and projects, including year-round support of the JeffCo Food Bank and Helena Food Share. Special ministries include support of the Clancy School through “Stuff the Bus”, providing Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts and dinner to needy area families, emergency food boxes, providing warm clothing and blankets to the folks living on the Northern Cheyenne reservation, support of the Heifer Project, UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), supporting a pastor in the Angola (Africa) Conference, and supporting area organizations like Intermountain, Shodair, and Florence Crittendon Home.
